Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a quick, flowing style of yoga timed with the breath. It’s dynamic and fun—a true juxtaposition of the intense and the silly. In this class, you’ll discover a light-hearted atmosphere that allows you to be just as you are.

Every class focuses both on healthy alignment and conscious breathing to keep you grounded both on the mat and in the streets. We’ll also incorporate the building blocks of arm balances and inversions for yogis at every level of practice.

These classes are perfect for adventurous beginners as well as a seasoned yogis. Monday evening is our most dynamic Vinyasa class.

Gentle and Power Flow

Gentle Flow is a slower pace practice. Throughout the class, breath awareness takes the main stage, helping you to cultivate mindfulness and focus. The slower pace encourages self-study and introspection, allowing you to tap into your inner wisdom and find harmony - blend effort and ease. The transition from one posture to another is progressive, staying in poses is longer, allowing for using props and finding deeper alignment.

In Power Flow, you’ll explore strong, full-body, moving flows that encompass the essence of balance, strength, flexibility, and stamina. In the class you can find familiarity in the fundamental yoga poses, as well as unlock a new level of expansion and find new transitions and challenges. The flow focuses on poses as well as on smooth transitions between them. Remember that you can always take a deep breath anytime!

Both classes are suitable for all levels and body types.

Embodied Flow

Embodied Flow is an invitation to come home to your body. Using embodiment principles and somatic techniques, we'll feel into every corner of the body, learn how to move intuitively and welcome our own unique expression in every pose. We'll focus on nervous system regulation, breaking alignment rules, and remembering that we were meant for movement. This class is ideal for people who want to get out of their heads and into a more grounded way of living.

These classes are perfect for super beginners as well as seasoned yogis.

This class is in English and Portuguese.


Candlelight Yin

Thursday
20:30-21:30

For this practice, our studio is lit only by candles. Yin yoga invites us to slow down and sink deeper into each pose. Working on concert with more active approaches to yoga, this patient approach invited stretch and hydration into our fascial networks, helping to improve mobility. And perhaps most beneficial to yin students, yin yoga offers stillness and internal reflection in our modern context of constant rush and activity.

This class is great for beginners as well as seasoned yogis.

This class is taught in English.


Flow to Yin

Saturdays
11-12h

The purpose of Flow to Yin is to discover, through self-exploration and self-knowledge, a yoga practice that is less rigid, and more fluid and unique. Something that makes sense, that is welcoming and functional for you, including dynamic movements that gradually lead you into deep relaxation.

These classes are perfect for super beginners as well as seasoned yogis.

This class is in English and the teacher also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
